i think my computer is frying as we speak?

so yesterday my computer was fine, today when i turned it on…the colors are off and there seems to be like a dark fog or tint to all the colors of the screen. the greens seem to have a neon look to them and i need my colors for my graphics design on here. is my monitor fried? or do i just need to download a new graphics card or something. answers and links would be great. thanks a bunch!

On October 14th, 2008 apple announced some really interesting upgrades and redesigns to their mobile platform. The macbook and the macbookpro have seen a case redesign and are now made using unibody construction. All lines received an updated graphics chipset, the Nvidia 9400m, with the macbookpro also receiving the dedicated 9600 graphics card. The much rumored glass trackpad was also announced.
