On October 14th, 2008 apple announced some really interesting upgrades and redesigns to their mobile platform. The macbook and the macbookpro have seen a case redesign and are now made using unibody construction. All lines received an updated graphics chipset, the Nvidia 9400m, with the macbookpro also receiving the dedicated 9600 graphics card. The much rumored glass trackpad was also announced. This trackpad is 39% bigger then previous models, supports 1-4 finger multitouch, and supports virtual software buttons. Among other updates the the notebooks, apple also announced a new 24inch display featuring the same styling as the new macbooks (pro) including an isight camera all for $899. michaelsherlock.com http
