Hey all! I’m thinking about getting into graphic arts and graphic design but not sure where to start. I feel like I have creativity in me but **** at traditional media, so I think graphics might be fun. Can anyone recommend some software for starting graphic artists that include a stylus and tablet or anything else that might be useful? Thanks in advance!

My fiance’ is an amazing artist, who frequently comes up with graphics to place on t-shirts, jogging suits, jeans, and etc;. One of his goals is to one day have his designs printed on a famus clothing line. Does anyone have any information on how we can get started?

I have a Bachelors Degree in Advertising with a minor in art. I do adverting and design for a small company, but i am the only designer. There is no one to learn from…I’m only 24 and i have this thirst for knowledge right now. I want to get more into web design and graphic design. I do some logos and graphics on the side, but i want to learn more. I found a few schools around here that offer continuing education design certificates, but no graduate programs.
A. Would a graduate degree really benefit me? Or should i just take classes here and there on specific subjects?
B. Does anyone know any schools in the St. Louis are for graduate Graphic/Web Design?
C. Does anyone know any programs, not though a University, that can teach web design?

I’m a regional manager for a retail company and recently did a project using publisher. I had a great time for the 1st time in years. It’s got me thinking I’d like to do something new for my career. Any advice on what software would be good to start learning? Any online guides or would it be best to enroll in arts institute online? Would love to hear from anyone that has experience with graphic design or web design. I know I’m vague in what specifically I want to do in graphics; just not sure where to start. Help…
